      2. In your own point of view based on your research

      a. What are the disadvantages of and advantages of Proprietary ERP System over Open-Source ERP (Vice -Versa).

The advantages of the Open-source is its free and not costly but the disadvantages of it is that the popularity of the product is not that high and the the quality is not guaranteed since the open source we're just made by the ordinary people unlike to the propriety. On the other hand the propriety has advantages compared to the open-source,it is so popular and you can have the costumer support and assistance unlike to open source that you have to answers on your own although it has community but you cannot direct ask the assistance of the company.

       b. Which type of the ERP System is best recommended for industries (Open Source/Propritary) Justify your answer.

In terms of the quality and popularity of the product I would recommend the Proprietary one but it is so costly, so I would prefer to use open source. Open source is not that hard to used and at the same it is free and the community support is so wide.
